Sunday afternoon I saw a bird in our backyard that I never dreamed I would see . . . the painted bunting! As you can see from the photos, this bird is spectacular. I'm so amazed at the beauty I've found just by sitting in the backyard and watching the birds. While patiently enjoying the everyday birds, sometimes you are surprised by jewels that sparkle in your trees. Loving Dancing with the Stars this season with our local rodeo star, Ty Murray on the show. We are only 45 minutes from Stephenville, so he is a "homeboy". I grew up with guys that rode bulls and broncos in the rodeo and followed the rodeo stars, so he really is dear to my heart. Just love to watch him do the dances and the expression on his face.
