MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME

Couple of quick things:

The camera and printer issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Persistance, patience, and niceness pay off! I was not rude to the people involved and covered all of my bases. Received a prepaid shipping label for both items and have been credited for both items!! Of course, saving the original packaging and not having used the items helped them decide in my favor. However, my husband was pleasantly surprised that they did all of that for me. I just couldn't imagine having to keep the printer I didn't want, so I just KNEW they would take it all back and return the money. YEAH!!!
After scrapbooking and stamping for a while, it is obvious that my favorite ink is Tim Holtz distress inks. Joann's is having a sale with free shipping, so I have finally ordered all of the colors they have of his inks. So anxious for them to come. I love the subtleness of their color and the way they soak into the paper and become part of it. Pigment and Stazon have their place, but I do love these dye inks for just plain stamping. Probably because vintage is a look I love. I've been using pigment ink for the longest, unless it happened to be one of the six colors of dye ink that I had. I use the petalpoint ink pads, which are so cool since you can ink around intricate items and stamp with them as well. I know I will still use all of the inks, but probably will stamp a lot with the distress inks when they arrive. Plus, Tim has a lot of projects on his blog using these inks and my colors were very limited.

I'd love to get more inks, but I have no idea what I would want. So, I'm very excited for you! You know what you want and you got it! Have a great time with your new stash!
