FRIENDS WITH FLAIR FRIDAY

I thought I would share a pocket mini-album I made for an anniversary gift.  We will be out of town when they celebrate, so I thought I would make a mini-album for them to put some of the photos from their anniversary celebration in .  The album measures 6" x 6" and Cat from Cat's Creations Scrapbooks taught me how to make these cute little pocket albums.  Fun & easy!  I used the photo from the anniversary celebration invitation on the cover of the album.  I used a gold notary seal sticker with the number 50 stamps from the Liz Hicks alphabet stamp set that was a SMAK kit add-on and is now available for purchase on its own--love this set!

Each page has a pocket with tags in it and a journaling block on the pocket.  The tags are for the photos and then they can write who is in the photos on the journaling block.  I was going to link where the journaling stamps are, but most of them are from older kits of the month. I did find the ones on the bottom 2 pages:  the one on the left is from the "Throughout all Generations" and the one on the right is from the "Confession I Love Unity" kit (and I do love Unity!).  I'm thinking that the adore and moment journaling blocks would make great itty bitty stamps---hint, hint!!!  However, Unity has a wealth of journaling blocks that are currently available that could be used.  I am currently a SMAK kit of the month member so my regular kits of the month are a little older...but I love them!  Just don't have the money or room to get both kits of the month.  Currently going to have to buy ANOTHER bin to store my Unity stamps in....yes, I have a HUGE collection.  This will be bin #4---these bins are file crates --- YIKES!!!!   Just purchased more panels to store the stamps on as well.   The paper is from an old BoBunny collection--love it for wedding and anniversary pages and the journaling blocks and tags are on Astroparch cardstock. I used my Cinch to bind the album...love this machine!   The tape on the edges is from 7 gypsies and Magic Mesh dots.  I used Adirondack ink for the stamping and black soot Distress Ink for the distressing.  The ribbons are attached using my Tiny Attacher, the ribbons are from miscellaneous sources, and I used a Fiskars punch to cut the corners on the tags.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Friends With Flair blog hop.  Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win some Unity goodness.  The winners will be announced on the Unity blog on Monday.

Gorgeous mini album! And a wonderful gift idea! I like how you added their photo from the invitation. I so relate to the Unity Stamp club thing. I need more storage boxes for mine so I decided to drop the club for awhile.
