GROWING IN UNITY DAY 4

This is a picture of our dinner table and that's my dad in the picture---86 years old.  The soda water label is by Echo Park.  The washi tape top and bottom is by Queen & Company and the middle tape is by 7 Gypsies.  Now, I must confess, when I got my March SMAK kit, the coffee cup rings were my least favorite stamp--couldn't imagine using them.  However, I used them on this page---LOVE them!  They look so cool.  I do believe I'll be using them again.....   I used the February SMAK kit for the blessings stamp--it is actually two stamps.  The word blessings and the ruler--makes it useful for many things or you can put them together like I did.  LOVE the versatility of these stamps!
This page features my nephew (he just shaved his head recently...it will always be pale on top since his dad died of Melanoma, he will always wear a baseball cap to protect it from the sun) and my husband taking his Sunday afternoon nap in my mom's recliner with Sergie in his lap.  The journaling flag is from the December SMAK kit.  The life documented flag is from a Simple Stories itty bitty set "Year.o.graphy Banners"--love that set.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win 2 itty bitty sets from Unity and a chance to win a surprise from me.   See you back here tomorrow!

Oh, I really love those mini album layouts...especially the one of your dad at the table! The coffee rings add that little touch of vintage and texture!

Love this! I think I would've thought the coffe cup rings would be something unusable as well but love how it looks on this page!

Fun pics in your book! I love the coffee stain stamp... sometimes it's a fun challenge to see how you'd actually use a stamp you're not quite sure about.

I too would have thought I would never use a coffee ring stamp, but it really could be very versatile. I love the subtle, grungy look it gives your page and is perfect for a photo at the dining table!
