GROWING IN UNITY DAY 2

This is the first page of my "Week in the Life" album.  I used time cards I had purchased to use for recording our activities hour by hour.  I had purchased these a few years ago at an office supply store after seeing them used in scrapboooking.  Never had used them, but this seemed to be the perfect time.  They are by Tops.  The designer paper is by Fancy Pants as is the journalling ticket.  I used a strip of Tim Holtz tissue tape across the bottom.  The bingo card is stamped with vintage photo distress ink by Ranger and the stamp is the co-branded itty bitty Simple Stories Life bingo stamp by Unity.  LOVE this stamp!  For the tabs with the days of the week on them, I used a punch by Stampin Up and the Unity co-branded itty bitty Simple Stories
This is the second page of the album.  I took a picture of the first song we sang at Church Sunday morning.  I used strips of paper tape by 7 Gypsies at the top and bottom of the photo.  The journaling spot at the bottom was made using a stamp by Creative Imaginations.   I used another Simple Stories co-branded stamp scattered down the right side of the page that says noteworthy from the Simple Stories stamp-ments
set--LOVE this set!   The framed sentiment on the journaling block is another itty bitty by Unity called My Strength and Song -- I love the birds singing on it!

I'll be back tomorrow with some more from my album.  Don't forget to leave a comment each day for a chance to win some itty bitty stamps of your choice!   YEAH!!!   And, you never know, I just might have some blog candy up for grabs as well............stay tuned!

Love this idea of a mini album to record a week of your life, Marilyn. I'm not a scrapbooker but am trying to start with a smash book ;) Love your handwriting. The pages look great!

This is great, and I love the idea of recording hour by hour what happens in the week as opposed to just using photos. Words are so important!

Wow, I love that idea of using time cards on layouts! I actually think I have some old time cards around somewhere, left over from when we had a business. Love all the vintage embellishments you made with your stamps
