PROGRESS

To date, I have lots over 50 pounds. Very pleased. My son has lost . . . drum roll please. . . 100 pounds!!! He has a few things on his side - being a male and youth. However, he has unfortunately had some complications. He spent 4 days in the hospital to start with because he had a small leak. It sealed itself and he was released. Unfortunately, he has developed strictures and had to have two endoscopies to have them stretched. He also has a large (1 cm) ulcer. He goes for his third endoscopy next wednesday to re-stretch the stricture if necessary and to check on the ulcer. He is on medication to help the ulcer. However, even with the complications, he does not regret the surgery.
